Even though the sanctuary runs primarily on volunteer help - it still costs a fortune to care for these special animals.  Each year we spend over $300,000 on food alone, and another $300,000 on everything from Electricity... to Propane… to Insurance… and tons of other expenses associated with running a large sanctuary like this.

Caring people ask us all the time what they can do to help… and so we have created a great recycling program, specially designed with Laser Concepts, Inc., in order to help care for the animals and we will be helping the environment at the same time.   

One of the unique ways that people can help raise funds for the sanctuary is through our Printer Cartridge Recycling Program.  Everything from small ink-jet cartridges… to large laser printer cartridges… to copy machine toner cartridges can be collected.

Each cartridge is worth a certain amount of money (based on many different factors) - so Laser Concepts, Inc. gives the Sanctuary the proceeds whenever they pick up cartridges you have saved.
